THE MITCHELL PROJECT

THE MITCHELL PROJECT

THE BLUE MOUNTAINS, ON

This live/rent chalet is located in the heart of the Blue Mountains, with a superb unobstructed view of the ski hill. Having such a great surrounding was the inspiration to bring some elements of the outdoors into the design of the homes interior.

The chalet was in rough shape when purchased by the client. It was in much need of some TLC. This is where J.C. Design Group came in.

The existing 'A' frame structure created challenges in the design due to the height restrictions in areas. It did however lead to architectural details not seen in the standard home. We wanted to make the those details subtly standout while drawing the eye to some custom features that were designed and added to the space.
